In Memoriam 

Bob Haushalter, a member shooter of Forest Grove Blackpowder Rifleman, and a friend to us all, passed away from cancer on Thursday, August 7, 2008...he was a good man, and will be missed.

November 1 and 2 Schützenfest Camp Out ??

We are in the planning stages of a 2 day Schützenfest for the November 2 shoot, which would be November 1 and 2 if it works out.  Please contact either Terry or Fran for more information.

Targets to be provided by "Wild Willy".

We had 11 shooters this month -

Ray B. - 1st Place with 17 targets hit - HAM

Close call on the Paper Targets!!!

Hank from WV won by 1/8 inch  - HAM

To all the shooters:

Glad I was able to join in on the fun this time.  Arm and shoulder did ok.  No major pains after the shoot.  I guess PT with weight lifting helped...I shot 13 targets (Best Ever for Me!)  (OK...12 points - I had to subtract the egg cause I missed CLEM's CUP! Dirty rotten &@$#@&#).   

Still a little hard to load, especially short-starting, but I did OK.

I hope to continue.

We have even MORE new targets!!!  Ones I didn't even know about.  These targets will be near the regular targets and we will alternate at each meet.  There will also be "sitting" targets and "standing-on-log" targets.  The new SPINNING TARGET was a big hit (or miss for some)

All shoots are scheduled as below, and will take place unless listed as cancelled.
